Tal Harry

It seems like Tal Harry was born at Richter7. He began his career here and worked his way up to partner/department head, managing substantial duties with multiple clients and employees. Tal provides guidance for many clients, among them: Zions Bank, Big-D Construction, Utah’s Hogle Zoo. Tal’s experience at Richter7 also includes long stints working with major fast food and restaurant clients and their franchisee groups. Tal is Richter7's CEO.

Tim Brown

Tim began his career in Los Angeles doing PR for Fuji Bank, the Consulate General of Japan, et al. Today as Richter7 president, Tim is directing major clients through crisis communications while generating publicity for other clients in national media like the Today Show, The Wall Street Journal, USA Today, the Los Angeles Times, Travel & Leisure, etc. A frequent speaker on 'creativity,' Tim threw toy balls to 500 corporate executives as part of his creative thinking workshop. Ideas stormed forward, as did the balls. (No one was harmed…almost.)

Scott Rockwood

Scott's work and views have been written about by ADWEEK, Ad Age, Creativity, Communication Arts, Brand Week and the Wall Street Journal. He has been a guest columnist for ADWEEK providing commentary on Super Bowl ads. He has received the highest award given by the American Advertising Federation for advancing the standards of advertising. Among Scott's roles, he guides clients to identify their brand messaging.

Dave Newbold

Heralded by ADWEEK as 'a rising creative star,' Dave's thoughtful and innovative approach has been utilized by such entities as American Express, Foot Locker, Major League Baseball, 7UP, Boy Scouts of America, and many others. Dave is a past president of the Utah Advertising Federation, and was named Creative Director of the Year by that organization.

Positions Open

Account Manager
We’re seeking: a proven Account Manager with an eagerness to continue developing their strategic planning skills. Our ideal candidate will have strong written and verbal communication skills; have an understanding of data tracking and reporting; love to learn our clients' businesses; can thrive in a team environment; and is proficient in Word, Excel and PowerPoint. You must be able to successfully juggle multiple projects at a time, paying very careful attention to ensure that all deadlines and budgets are met. You will need at least two years of recent and relevant agency account management experience. Practical knowledge in digital marketing, traditional media, database and social media marketing is a must.

Key areas of responsibility include

  • Day-to-day management of client projects and budgets.
  • Managing the delivery of assets for multiple advertising campaigns, including traditional media, digital marketing and/or fully integrated campaigns.
  • Ability to think and work independently while still operating under agency best-practice guidelines.
  • Attentive to details with the ability to juggle multiple client demands.
  • Budget management through Excel spreadsheets.
  • Following up with team members to ensure that deadlines are being met.
  • Develop Work Briefs for asset development.
  • Works, as requested, on new business activities.

Qualifications / Education

  • At least 2 years in agency environment
  • Experience managing teams, budgets and projects
  • Strong writing, communication and problem solving skills
  • Expert user of MS Office, particularly PowerPoint and Excel

Integrated Media Buyer
We are currently looking to hire a media buyer and we are considering all experience levels. The Media Buyer works closely with the Media Director to fulfill client objectives through media buying. This person will be given high level training to properly understand all media types. Additionally, this person will be trained in both traditional and digital media buying. Digital and planning experience will be considered a plus, but are not required.

  • Buy media in Traditional and Digital landscape
  • Paid digital includes social, programmatic, video and more.
  • Negotiate and secure pricing for media buys
  • Negotiate and secure added value for media buys
  • Responsible for maintenance of traffic, program changes, budget revisions, makegoods and credits as necessary
  • Lead in stewardship of invoicing and follow through on discrepancies
  • Create and maintain professional relationships with sales reps and management teams
  • Perform other functions/duties as necessary or assigned

Digital experience a plus.
  • Great verbal and written communication skills.
  • Great presentation skills; written, speaking and visual.
  • Clear and concise writing abilities of objectives, strategies and tactics.
  • Interest in and the ability to self-educate on emerging media.
  • Responsiveness, responsibility, problem solving, thought leadership/proactivity, organization/efficiency.
