Salt Lake City, Feb. 12, 2014— Richter7  received more awards at this year’s Utah ADDY Awards than any other agency for the ninth time in 11 years. Richter7 was awarded 10 gold and 7 silver ADDY awards in total.

Nearly 450 entries were submitted this year from 40 firms, plus several colleges and universities.

“We are always anxious to produce fresh, breakthrough advertising for our clients,” said Dave Newbold, Richter7 president and executive creative director. “Receiving these awards reinforces our firm belief that outstanding creativity can increase brand awareness and sales.”

With over 40,000 entries annually, the ADDYs, more formally known as the American Advertising Awards, are the world’s largest advertising competition. Concurrently across the country, local entrants vie for recognition as the very best in their markets. Local winners compete against other winners in one of 15 district competitions, with district winners moving on to the national American Advertising Awards competition. In past years, Richter7 has earned numerous awards at the national level.

“Our ultimate goal is to produce national quality work for our clients— because it does a better job of setting them apart and selling their products and services,” said Newbold.

Established in 1971, Richter7 has been named Utah’s “Best of State” advertising agency seven times in the past decade and is nationally recognized for effective advertising, public relations, online interactive and design for clients from Indiana to Hawaii.
