One example is the launching of Salt Lake’s TRAX light rail system. We stretched our Client’s thinking to not just hold a kick-off at the downtown station but to organize ribbon-cutting events – complete with bands and fanfare – along the 15-mile TRAX line.

Officials expected a few thousand citizens to show but more than 40,000 came to ride the first light rail system in the state – and that was in freezing December temperatures. It was so successful that TRAX extended the launch to the next Saturday, also.
